CNC Swiss Screw Machining
|
|
Barry Podmore Inc., operates state-of-the-art Deco 2000 CNC Swiss screw machines that offer the speed and productivity of the old cam-style Swiss type screw machines and the flexibility and precision of CNC. These multi-axis machines allow us to produce simple to very complex CNC Swiss screw machining parts without the need for second operations. |
Our Swiss CNC sliding headstock machines are equipped with LNS Tryton automatic bar loaders. These automatic bar changers allow us to run lights-out production, and run bar stock from .040” (1.0 mm) to .625” (16 mm) to reduce material waste. The flexibility of the multi-axis precision CNC combined with the automatic bar loader make these machines suitable for running quantities ranging from prototype to production.
- Independent slides allow four tools to cut at same time.
- Up to 12 axis machining for simple to complex parts.
- Flexible scheduling
- Lights out production
- Main and Sub-spindle Polygon milling/turning (the burr free machining of multiple facets on the diameter or end of a part without stopping the part spindle. For example, you can create a square feature on a part without stopping the spindle and cutting the shape with an end mill)
We also do Escomatic Screw Machining.
